Course Description:

An Introduction to digital imaging that combines theory with practical application.  Will include terminology, tools, scanning photos, saving images in TIFF, GIF, JEPG, or ESP format, and which is best for your project.

Student Expectations:

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

 

Ø      Work with Scanners and Digital Devices

Ø      Understand different file formats

Ø      Create Photo Displays

Ø      Use Photoshop to adjust the Tone and Color of a scanned image

Ø      Use Photoshop to improve Image Quality, Tonal Range, and Color Balance

Ø      Use Photoshop to Alter, Delete, Add or Change Elements

Ø      Use Photoshop to Add Type and effects to a image

Grading Policy:

This course is Credit / No Credit.  To receive credit you must complete all the assignment / projects.  You may only miss one class session. If you need to drop the course, it is your responsibility to do so.
