Prerequisites: Internet Basic, Multimedia on the Web, or
equivalent knowledge

Course Description:

The student will learn to apply basic Flash techniques to create interactive web content; workspace drawing tools, fills and gradients, layers, art work, symbols,
instances, and the library, animation, scenes, actions and buttons, sound,
and publishing. .A book and disk (or USB drive) are required.

 

Student Expectations:

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

 

Ø      Use Macromedia Flash MX 2004

Ø      Use the Flash Drawing tools to Draw, or Edit Graphics

Ø      Use the Flash Drawing tools to Work Objects, Text and Layers

Ø      Work with Symbols and Interactivity

Ø      Create Animations, Special Effects.

Ø      Add Sounds to Flash Movies

Ø      Prepare and Publish their Flash Movies to the Web, or to other Media

Ø      Understand Basic Action Scripting

This course is Credit / No Credit.  To receive credit you must complete all the assignments /projects.  You may only miss two class sessions.  If you need to drop the course, it is your responsibility to do so.
