Course Description:

This course will introduce the student into advanced programming of Flash web sites, by using action scripting, forms, and interactive techniques using Flash programming language – action scripting.

Student Expectations:

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

·        Apply action scripts to Web Sites

·        Demonstrate the basic concepts of Flash programming language

·        Write action script and apply it to different objects within Flash

·        Develop presentation and web pages objects using Flash programming language – action scripts

·        Use digital audio, and Video, and mix it with a presentation.

·        Apply animation techniques to presentations.

Note:

A lab/supplies card, purchased from the college bookstore is also required for use of the West Valley College Technology Center.

 

Grading Policy:

Grading is A through F, using a 10 point grading system

A = 90 and Above

B = 80 - 89

C = 70 and 79

D = 60 and 69

F = Below 60

60 % - Completing and Posting of Homework Assignment

10 % - Class Participation/Attendance

30% - Final Project
