Internet Basic, HTML or equivalent knowledge

Course Description:

Design, organize and develop web pages and sites using
Dreamweaver. Instruction in web page design and related graphic
design issues including mark-up languages, web sites, and browsers.
Prerequisites: . A book and USB fl ash drive is required. 3.2 CEUs

 

Student Expectations:

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

 

Ø      Plan and Define a Web SIte

Ø      Add folders and add Pages

Ø      Create and View A Site Map

Ø      Import and Format Text

Ø      Ad Links to Web Pages

Ø      Modify and Test Web Pages

Ø      Insert and Align Graphics

Ø      Pre form Site Maintenance

Ø      Create and Apply Cascading Style Sheets

Ø      Post & Update Web Pages on a Web Site

Ø    Create and understand the use of forms on a web site

Ø    Use tables in the layout and design of web pages

Ø    Post objects using layers

Ø    Use Frames in the layout and design of web pages

Grading Policy:

This course is Credit / No Credit.  To receive credit you must complete all the assignments /projects.  You may only miss two class sessions. If you need to drop the course, it is your responsibility to do so.
