Course: CIS 117 - Introduction into Microsoft Power Point

Course Objectives


Upon completion of the course the learner will be able to:

  1. Define what presentation software is.

  2. Start Power Point for Windows, and use the AutoContent Wizard.

  3. View the Presentation, work with the toolbars.

  4. Get help from within the program, close a file and exit Power Point.

  5. Plan an effective presentation, choose a look for a presentation.

  6. Enter slide text, create a new slide, enter text in Notes Pages view.

  7. Save and print a presentation.

  8. Open an existing presentation, add and arrange text, format text.

  9. Draw and modify objects, edit objects, align and group objects.

  10. Replace text and check spelling.

  11. Insert clipart, insert a graph, format a chart.

  12. Work with an organizational chart.

  13. Insert Word Art, Work with a Slide Master.

  14. Choose a color scheme, Annotate slides during a slide show.

  15. Use slide show special effects.
