Saving A Presentation
Saving A Presentation
Saving a presentation in PowerPoint is similar to saving documents in other Microsoft Office applications. After a presentation is saved on disk, you can use it over and over again.
- Choose File, Save
- The Save as dialog box opens. The default directory for PowerPoint is shown.
- In the File Name text box, type the name you wish to call this presentation file. You don't need to type the extension PPT. PowerPoint automatically adds it.
- In the drives list box click on the down arrow and choose A: drive if you wish to save your presentation on a disk in drive A, otherwise make sure that you are on the drive you wish to save the presentation file on.
- Click the OK button.
- The file is now saved and you are back in PowerPoint, the new file name is shown in the top border of the window.
