HTML or equivalent knowledge.

Course Description:

Use JavaScript to draw attention to Web pages through the use of flickering, messages, a rolling banner, and a dynamic greeting.Add functionality to HTML Web pages with the creation of cookies, dialog windows, and messages via the status line; forms; and use of JavaScript for Web page security. Students will also focus on business and service-related opportunities.

 

Student Expectations:

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

 

Ø    Use / Place Java Scripts in Web Pages

Ø    Understand the Language Essentials

Ø     Create / Modify various Java Scripts

Ø     Understand Objects, Properties, and Methods

Ø     Bake / Create there own Cookies

Ø     Create and use more effective Java Scripts

Ø     Understand what Java Script can and Can Not Do

Ø     Understand the difference between Java Script and Java

Grading Policy:

This course is Credit / No Credit.  To receive credit you must complete all the assignments /projects.  You may only miss two class sessions. If you need to drop the course, it is your responsibility to do so.
